I liked the first Frederick Thomas tie I bought so much, that I now own six of them. I have a suit and tie job, and own dozens of ties, almost all of them silk. I was skeptical at first because FT ties are microfibre, but over the long run, I found that they wear longer, knot nicer, and look just as sharp as silk. As a bonus, being a yank, no one else in my large office has the same ties, and I get more than a few compliments on them. Whether you only occasionally wear a tie, or wear them all the time, you cannot go wrong with FT ties.
