My dog loved the smell of the treat and was very excited to have it. Approximately 4 hours later he started vomiting. He didn’t want to eat or drink anything and kept vomiting for 24 hours that were the longest I have lived. He was looking so poorly, dehydrated and had nothing left in his stomach, so he was vomiting bile. It was extremely distressing for us all. The next days he had diarrhoea and took a few days to recover and get back to himself. We did not want to attribute this reaction to Fish4dogs treats even if there was no other difference in his routine or food that day. 2 weeks later we gathered the courage to try with another jerky. He just smelled it and stepped back. He did not want it, which is very unusual for him. I had ordered 2 packs (and they are not cheap!) so we opened a new pack just in case the open one had expired. He refused the treat from the new pack, too. They went in the bin. I cannot offer them to any other dog following our very bad experience.
