Money making, anyone can list themselves as tutor, you do not CRB check tutors which I feel since First Tutors charge a fee this should most definitely be included to somewhat safe guard the tutee regardless of “the law” which is stated on your website. You are paying for details of someone that you have never met or even spoken to as First Tutors controls communication through limited messaging through their website and will only release the telephone numbers etc once you have paid their fee. There is no protection for the tutee. I think this is a terrible way of encouraging people including parents and children to find a tutor and I do not recommend.
