I ordered this goose on the 19th October. It was supposed to be 5 – 6kg for which I paid £131.93 including delivery. The ticket says minimum 5kg in print but hand written on the label is 4.6. I assume that I would have paid for a 6kg bird. So how can 4.6kg bird be the same price. I had already ordered a turkey for Christmas Day not realising that I would be able to secure a goose. The goose is currently frozen as I will use it for my birthday on Sunday Jan 21. I am hoping it will at least be a good goose. But I'm sure you will understand it does not give me confidense going forward. Waitrose adjust the price according to the weight delivered!
