In buying my ring there were 3 interactions with staff. Two with myself (49 years old) and one including my daughter (18 years).
The service I received was courteous, if somewhat perfunctory; whereas, the interaction with my daughter was disrespectful bordering on rude. I can only infer there was a subconscious agest bias, assuming it was acceptable to speak to her in a derogatory manner.
