It's a lovely shirt with great materials, but way too big for me. I measured my chest at 41.75 inches, so bought the 42. I like an aero fit that is not compressive. Think I would really need a 38 or possibly less given how beautifully stretchy the fabric is. Had it shipped to my home in Thailand so difficult to exchange now. I'm sure you'd be fine if in the UK.
