When joining the Event Academy my aim was to update my event knowledge and skills in order to gain a permanent role within the industry and I am thrilled to say after completing my online diploma that I have a role within an incredibly exciting event team. Within in 3 weeks I had been out in Amsterdam, twice, and since then have the prospect of travelling even further afield. If you are thinking about joining the Event Academy - do it! It is the best investment. Huge thank you to Lorne for making sure I chose the right course that suited my needs and to Rosie, Rebecca and all the team who delivered brilliant seminars and offered constant guidance and support. Finally a huge shout out to Student Services and to Natalie - I wasn't aware EA helped with recruitment and it is down to her emails and support that I am working in the Events industry as my role is one she suggested.
