Today 4 Sep 2020 had an unfortunate experience of visiting their Croydon Branch. I purchased 100 meter drum of 4 core SWA 2.5 mm and 100 meter drum of 1.5 mm SWA. Both weighed over 32 kilos each. When item arrived it was pointed out to me. I am an old man so I was struggling to move these two drums from the shop to my car. I was being watched by the sales person, namley, Shanes according to the invoice. No help whatsoever was offered either to move these heavy drums from the shop to the car or to help me to put these in the boot of my car. I struggled big time but managed to load these into my car and since then my back and neck have been badly hurting. Very very poor and inconsiderate customer service. I have been in retail for a very long time and my staff and I would go an extra mile to help our customers. Edmundson supposed to be a very reputable company but my experience has been completely different today. I have mentioned this to a few others and they are horrified that, although being watched no help was offered. I will not recommend this branch even to my enemies. Staff seriously need customer care training.
