Our fireplace arrived on Monday and we love the way it looks! The customer service was good at Direct Fireplaces for the ordering process, and we were able to use their price match guarantee successfully so we got a very good deal. I do however think that their process around delivery doesn’t work all that well. They told me that we’d get a call with a delivery date, but this didn’t come. After 10 days or so I chased this and had to do so a couple of times. It seems that the delivery is organised by the supplier, and once organised it went well. So we did receive our fireplace 3 & a half weeks after we ordered. I’m not sure though if we would have received it as quickly if I hadn’t chased this. I think that perhaps this process needs to be reviewed.
