I selected a delivery date and gave about 4 days notice. I took the day off work and stayed in all day awaiting the delivery. I received a call from the delivery company at about 4.50pm advising that the delivery could not be made that day. After I raised a complaint I was contacted by James from Decorative Gardens and he was extremely apologetic and refunded me £10 as a token gesture. However, having spent close to £500 on pebbles I felt this was not fair compensation for my wasted day off and inconvenience. It was completely unacceptable to have been contacted at 4.50pm and advised the delivery wouldn't be made that day. To be fair I have no complaints about the pebbles, which were exactly as described although I needed almost 2 tons more than I had calculated with the online calculator - beware when ordering larger pebbles you will need more than you think!
