We held a Spanish Day at our school and had Dance Days in to run a flamenco workshop. It was great! The children loved learning a couple of traditional Spanish dances and really embraced the sessions. Boys as well as girls! We held a whole school 'Celebrating Spanish' assembly, ran food and drink tasting sessions, sang traditional Spanish songs and created artwork influenced by Spanish artists. A lot of the children said it was their favourite activity of the day was the flamenco workshop and it has inspired me to run a flamenco club which they are really looking forward to. I would really recommend Dance Days. Our primary school will remember the experience for a long long time...
