I instructed Conveyancing Direct on the basis of their quotation of £450.80 inclusive of legal fees, disbursements and vat.
Upon completion of the purchase, I was asked to pay the interim statement of account that amounted to £905.20 and it has been difficult to get answers from the conveyancing lawyers as they are 200 miles away.
I will do my best to try to recover some of the items included on the statement, but I believe that I would have been much better off if I had used a local solicitor.
