I contacted Cherished Urns before ordering as I wanted a deep red ring but nothing that looked like blood or brown and if they felt it wasn’t achievable I’d pick another colour. They replied quickly assuring me this could be accomplished and I ordered my ring. I can not fault the customer care as they emailed to say they’d received the ashes and I’d have an 8 week wait for my ring. I then hoped they would contact me to discuss/confirm a colour choice or possible colour match before making the ring, as this was something I was really anxious about, but the next email I received was to say my ring was en route. I was delighted as I’d only waited 6 weeks, but super anxious regarding the colour match.
My ring in a dusky light looks stunning and was the deep red I wanted but unfortunately under a harsher light it looks a brassy red which was definitely not what I wanted, so I’m disappointed but this maybe something to do with the way the light reflects on the resin. It’s a shame but so long as I walk around in a dull room it looks stunning.
On reflection I should have looked for a colour match and sent it directly to them along with my order. So that’s my top tip if you’d like a specific colour.
Unfortunately customer services response was that they were sorry I wasn’t happy with the colour. A lot of money to spend in a product that I’m not entirely happy with, so that was disappointing.
