I ordered my shoes online to save me a trip into town and was very pleased at how promptly they arrived. However, I was most disappointed to find that the insole of the left shoe hadn't been glued in properly and looked crumpled and had a bump around the toe area. I returned them to the store in Newcastle the following day and the sales assistant agreed that they were unacceptable and exchanged them for me. I do like the shoes (Rieker Pia) and they are the second pair in different colours that I have bought but at £62 I would expect better quality control. I will need to think twice before I order again online.
