Words can’t describe how grateful I am to the people of Immerse. My daughter Irene attended the international relations program at the age of 15. It was a life-changing experience. She came back a different person, more mature, self-confident, eager to succeed. At Immerse she came close to a bunch of like-minded young men and women who like herself are high-achievers, internationally oriented, generous in heart and mind. Two years on, they are still in touch, they support and motivate each other. Interestingly enough, they come from 4 different continents and most were beneficiaries of the immerse scholarship program, like herself. The academic part of the program was also interesting and fulfilling, but it was the social aspect and the inspiring location of Cambridge that made the experience unique. She was taken really good care and we felt she was safe. In the two weeks she was away, she only stressed once: the first 10 minutes she landed in Heathrow and had to change terminals. Stress ended as soon as she met the Immerse transfer organiser. From then on she was completely at ease. Immerse opened-up a whole new world for her and inspired her to pursue an arduous and rewarding academic path. I thus wholeheartedly recommend all the Immerse programs.
