I wasted a day due to delayed delivery. I waited a whole day only to be advised late on the day that delivery would be between 6 and 7 pm and then received a phone call apologising that delivery would not be made until the following day. Delivery on that day was then completed!!
I do appreciate delays are always issues but flexibility should work both ways and communication should always be critical.
