Unbelievable experience with BoxT
Boiler (Worcester Bosch) broke down in the first 2 months. It took 2 weeks of me calling and emailing Boxt and Worcester Bosch to get an engineer out who discovered there was a wire which had been trapped and damaged during installation.
Fast forward....took out landlords cover to cover boiler and pipework etc breakdown. £24.99 per month!!!....another breakdown in middle of winter, no hot water or heating, 'no problem' I thought...'I've got landlord cover'...yeah right!! A total waste of £300 per annum...they take your money but don't honour the contract....a repeat scenario of me calling emailing BoxT for almost 2 weeks with nobody coming out to investigate the boiler. Eventually had to pay for an independent engineer to come out and fix the boiler again!.
Now (Jan 2024)....found stains above the boiler and based on previous 2 experiences with BoxT , called out an independent engineer again to investigate who discovered the flue had not been sealed outside and is letting rainwater and possibly fumes/emissions back into the property.
Contacted BoxT again who said said an engineer would call today to rectify the flue but nobody turned up and nobody called to cancel or rearrange...
My next step will be to contact Gas Safe and have them inspect the installation as I am not confident that it's 100% safe.
Based on my experience with this company I would not recommend them to anyone. AVOID!
