Horrendous installation from Boxt, as of now I have had 7 visits from engineers, including Gas safe to try and sort out a dangerous and faulty installation by Boxt. It wasn't until I contacted Trading Standards and Gas Safe I could even get a reply from Boxt. We have had a Danger label do not use put on the new boiler by Homeserve, Gas Safe have said the installation was unsafe and Boxt are trying to deny responsibility for this. I am now having no option but to go via the Ombudsman. I would avoid this company if you would like a safe installation, and good customer service. Date of experience: 11 December 2023

Unbelievable experience with BoxT Boiler (Worcester Bosch) broke down in the first 2 months. It took 2 weeks of me calling and emailing Boxt and Worcester Bosch to get an engineer out who discovered there was a wire which had been trapped and damaged during installation. Fast forward....took out landlords cover to cover boiler and pipework etc breakdown. £24.99 per month!!!....another breakdown in middle of winter, no hot water or heating, 'no problem' I thought...'I've got landlord cover'...yeah right!! A total waste of £300 per annum...they take your money but don't honour the contract....a repeat scenario of me calling emailing BoxT for almost 2 weeks with nobody coming out to investigate the boiler. Eventually had to pay for an independent engineer to come out and fix the boiler again!. Now (Jan 2024)....found stains above the boiler and based on previous 2 experiences with BoxT , called out an independent engineer again to investigate who discovered the flue had not been sealed outside and is letting rainwater and possibly fumes/emissions back into the property. Contacted BoxT again who said said an engineer would call today to rectify the flue but nobody turned up and nobody called to cancel or rearrange... My next step will be to contact Gas Safe and have them inspect the installation as I am not confident that it's 100% safe. Based on my experience with this company I would not recommend them to anyone. AVOID!

The wine is great - packs a little punch and is definitely going to be a perfect 'house wine'. But its the customer service that is stellar. I ordered 1 box of #4for my mom for Christmas. The box came damaged. They quickly overnighted a new box on December 23rd! However, while moving the bag from the damaged box to the new box, pandemonium ensued as the pin punctured the bag..... it was clear this present was not going to be opened on Christmas and the team at Boxt was responsive throughout the holidays and resolved the issue with numerous choices - refund, replacement. I also ordered a subscription for myself. This one came without any fanfare, except it was just the bag of wine, not the box. They are sending me a box. Again - very responsive, immediately. I am looking forward to this new addition! Thanks to the team!

Absolute nightmare at the start of the air con install, amateur installers, installation dates continuously moved, website states unit comes with a 5yr guarantee now just over 12 months later the Dakien unit is faulty and Daikin state Boxt have never registered the guarantee with them and they have co-ownership of the guarantee. Boxt customer service is non existent they don’t reply to your queries regards where the guarantee is gone even though I have emails from them stating it comes with a 5yr guarantee and that they register it for you. Time to raise this with their finance company and credit company and small claims court, they will not get away with this, paid over £3k for this air con install! DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS OR TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY

I had an EV wall charger installed with BOXT 

They don’t give the installer the box to install , instead try and get it couriered to arrive at the same time as the installers arrival!!!! 

So the installer is booked to arrive between 7-930

And 

then box is booked to arrive between 7-930 

Cut a long story short, the installer didn’t want to wait potentially 2 hours for the charger to arrive, so didn’t turn up and did another job in the meantime 

He came back at 4 in the afternoon. Left at 7 and hadn’t finished I 

Complained to BOXT via online chat who said “ I can’t help so I’m going to end this chat” really rude 

- Clare I think her name was- see chat transcript below No support open from BOXT on weekend !
They are closed


Eventually, got the box working after the installer suggest I play around with the configuration settings! 

I complained on the Monday and was told I would receive compensation which I haven’t, and it’s been over a month

I also haven’t received my building regulation documents which they promised 


I genuinely hand on Heart predict this company will not be around in the next year. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced, yes ever! I left this review on trustpilot and they tried to get it removed . Just being honest guys Read the other negative reviews, all the same issues regarding customer service come up !

Awful customer service been waiting all day for somebody to call me only had the boiler fitted two days ago no hot water. No Gas Saftey Cert if I care no heating nobody picks the phone up you can just speak via chat and all they do is fob you off, still waiting complete waste of time go somewhere else and get your boiler that would be my advice

Don't purchase anything from BOXT Don't purchase anything from BOXT We paid nearly £4,000 upfront for a combi boiler. A date was set for the 24.8.23, I received an email the day befor at 16.00pm saying that they had to cancel the appointment and reschedule it for 7 days time as they had no one to fit it. My husband and l had both booked a day off each from work which we were inable to change. I asked for a refund and was told that would be in my account by the end of the day on the 24.8.23, but it wasn't. Phoned the 25.8.23, was told they would sort this straight away but no still have not got my money back. It's now Bank Holiday,so when I will get my money back I don't know. JUST DON'T BUY FROM BOXT Date of experience: 25 August 2023

Just had my new boiler fitted by boxt. All turned up on time as did Daniel Harrison who worked his socks off was neat tidy and very professional. Im a plumber by trade but specialist in bathrooms and kitchens so lost touch with new boiler concepts but know a good tradesman when i see one. I was sceptical about paying up front but i tell you what this company delivers what it promises so dont worry on that score. I'm a very happy customer in Nottingham and thanks again Daniel a pleasure to have in my house. Ps thanks to all the boxt team its a different way,but one that delivers what it promises

Steve & Chris went the extra mile on Christmas eve and stayed until the job was complete in the early evening. this was in spite having to drive back to Sunderland from the Scottish borders. The service was quick, efficient and friendly from start to finish. The one drawback was my kitchen floor was lifted unnecessarily but Craig at BOXT immediately took ownership of this and agreed to replace it like for like. Terrific! Thoroughly recommend. Stevie, Scottish Borders.

Had to change a standard boiler to a Combi at short notice, due to the hot water tank leaking. Very impressed with BOXT, nothing was to much trouble, fitter and boiler arrived on time. Fitter did a fantastic job.

Process was extremely easy, no pushy salesmen involved! Best quote within seconds and no hidden extras. Even offered a discount for having it fitted on a certain day. Ordered online, fitted within 2 days. I had one visit by fitter, then electrician to sort out stats 2 days later (at my convenience). Both guys were very helpful and friendly. I had one issue within a few days of fitting where wireless cylinder stat wasn't working properly. Was sorted within a few days with no problems or extra charges. Highly recommend if you're looking for a competitive, stress-free solution to getting your boiler changed.
