These could be pretty good but the rigid leather tab that the laces attach to really irritates my hands. Also, they're only designed to wrap around toward the inside of your wrist rather than outside like most people tend to do. Lastly, the company's return policy precludes the possibility of trying them and sending them back if they do not work so I'm stuck with knuckle guards that I'll never use.
One positive is that the padding is thick and absorbent.
