The board is just the right kind of huge. It's sturdy on the water & light when carrying. Once inflated, it's rock solid. The top is a nice, soft surface to sit or stand. The fins are great with keeping the board tracking as needed. We've taken into the ocean, lakes & rivers. We loved this one so much, we bought another one for my wife (diff. colors).
