POSSIBLY THE WORST COMPANY IN THE COUNTRY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICES!
I bought a Cruise Carbon 10.8 and after the second time of use it developed a blister on the side seam and the carry-bag started falling apart due to poor construction!
I sent photos of the blister on the seam to Bluefin and they said they thought it was just cosmetic!
It was quite obviously due to faulty construction, so I went back to them and they agreed to take it back for repair or replacement. It cost me £60 to return it fully insured to them, which they have refused to repay me.
It took them two weeks to decide it was not repairable and to replace it.
They allegedly sent me a replacement board but their courier, DPD, delivered it to an unknown address at the other side of the country (according to the tracking link they sent me).
I immediately informed Bluefin that I had not received it but they have REFUSED to send me another board until DPD have completed an investigation (which could take months).
It is now over a month since I heard from them and I have had to resort to taking legal advice to recover my money.
My Legal Advisor has pointed out that this company has broken a number of consumer protection laws regarding selling defective equipment and refusing to carry out satisfactory solution in a reasonable time (I have now been without my board for over 6 weeks), and at no cost to me, including the cost of returning the board to them.
Think very carefully whether you want to risk buying from this company.
