I have sent flowers to friends and family using Bloom and Wild and always been delighted with the quality and selection. However, my latest order has not lived up to expectations. I love plants and have many in my home, so decided to order an Audrey Fig Tree as this is a variety that I haven't seen in my local garden centre. It arrived on time, but when I opened the box, lots of soil and leaves fell out of the box. It had obviously been placed upside down at some point in the journey and everything was covered in soil and the seagrass basket had to be thrown away, as soil was embedded. This is supposed to be "large" - it isn't. Mine measures barely 80cm and is very unlike the bushy, taller specimen shown on the website photo. If I'd seen this in a garden centre, I wouldn't have looked twice, let alone spent anything on it - if this were a dress, it would go straight back. Based on this experience, I would still buy cut flowers from B&W, but in future, I will only buy plants that I've actually seen in a nursery or garden centre. A waste of money.
