Betfair have all my data but after 20 years asked for a copy of my passport or driving license citing a Gambling Commission requirement. This is incorrect as the GC state Betfair can use available online data like Electoral roll to verify customers. They refused to do this and insisted on documents were sent to their Indian call centre. I refused on security grounds. My account is now closed.
The support centre were completely unhelpful.
I opened an MGM account in less than 3 minutes without a passport request!
