I had a Raymond Weil watch which is my mum's watch. It was broken, and she has dementia, is in a care home and no idea how she broke the metal bracelet, but the watch is important to her. 95% of my jewelery came from Berrys in Hull, and as I was in Newcastle yesterday I went in to ask if they could help or suggest what to do. Lee Davis served me and he gave me the best customer service I think I've had in a long time. He suggested writing to the manufacturer, then just asked if the watch was loose on mum's wrist. It's very loose - so he suggested something, I agreed, he took it away, took a pin out of one of the existing links and used it to repair the bracelet. He also noticed the time was wrong and that some of the crystals were loose, which might have been stopping the hands moving. But, just in case, he popped a battery in, brought the tiny crystals back, the link and put it all in a black fabric bag for me. I had my purse out ready to pay, but he would not take a penny. Just said he was passing on kindness. It was at that point I had tears. What a kind man. It just reinforced everything I feel about Berrys. Lee Davis, you are a complete, absolute embodiment of good customer service and a kind hearted person. Being able to wear her watch again will mean worlds to my mum. Thank you.
