Thank goodness I did not read the reviews as my experience has been excellent. I used to be in the Building trade and know that most MDF panels sold by the main DIY stores do not last as soon as water sits no the surface, irrespective of any sealing thats applied to cut edges, the MDF expands. Just read the reviews on the main DIY store MDF panels and its difficult to find anything different. Then I read how these are made, of moisture resistant MDF. Mine arrived within the week of ordering, exactly the right size and with the most brilliant white finish imaginable.( some whites do not match the brilliant white of sanitary ware so that was a plus) I had to cut around the skirting board and reduce the length of the kick board by an inch to accomadate the skirting. I used the hidden fixing kit, which i found rather difficult to fit as aligning the fittings on the back of the board with those fitted to the wall was a case of careful measuring and lining up. But when it was finished it works great as there are now no screws at all visible. Now the interesting bit. Because of my interest i left a half of the cut off section of kick board and a cut out for the skirting from the panel. In water for 24 hours. There was no deterioration to the finish. Despite this I had put a coat of oil based undercoat paint on the bare MDF back about a couple of inches around the edge but based on my research its probably not necessary. To summarise. In my opinion the best made and finished panel available in the UK. It must be a shame for the people making these brilliant panels that the management of the orders and transport is not up to the same excellent standard as they should have outstanding reviews from every customer. And no..i have no connection at all this company I just felt that some should know how good the actual product is. KM Buckinghamshire
