Be very careful with this company.
We were buying a Huffy 12" Pro Thunder Yellow for our Grandson's Christmas present. We ordered it on the 6th December with an expected arrival by 12/13 December. The parcel arrived on the 14th December but when I opened the package on the 15th I found they had sent the wrong item, a Green Machine Drift Trike. I immediately tried all day to ring customer services, only to find that the phone does not lead anywhere & the only contact is through email.
Fine, I sent an email with a picture to Support on 15th, requesting the correct item be sent & I would return the item delivered in error, to which I received an automated reply saying they would be in touch within 3 working days. Having heard nothing by the 18th we decided to buy elsewhere in order to get by Christmas. (The learning Centre achieved this for us). So I tried to return by Evri, their preferred courier, but they would not accept parcels over 15kg, so I went with ParcelForce. On 20th I received an email from Ebonie, customer Services, asking if it had now been returned, my reply was it was being picked up on 21st with 48hr delivery. On 21st she emailed requesting the returns tracking number, which I did. On 28th she emailed saying she could not track it so I sent the Delivery History showing itvDelivered with proof on the 23rd. The on 30th she emailed asking for my full name, Post Code & Order Number? This was in the Subject on every email I night add, but I did it. On 2nd Jan I emailed her to say I had received the refund for the wrongly delivered item but not the postage.
Since then we have had a number of emails where they are refusing to refund the postage which I find unacceptable, as it was their error & if we were able to get into contact by phone, or by email more promptly, they could have directed me to the way they wanted to deal with the situation. Ebonie said nothing about who to use until in an email on 5th January.
My advice to future customers is - Do not expect to be able to get through to anyone on the phone & do not rush to send anything back before you check with them. Hindsight is 20/20 vision!
