I have fished the tungsten nymph selection on a couple of occasions and caught both Trout and Grayling. They therefore effective.
However the durability is poor. The dressing on the small green goldhead completely unravelled after 1 cast. I used the large balloon caddis as a duo with the tungsten nymph, but it did not float well and resorted to a Klinkhamer.
I could be me not applying enough floatant.
I hope the comments are helpful and will let you how the dries work when the fish begin to become more active.
