We are back from what can only be described as the most amazing holiday to Iceland! Everything about the trip was spot on... the transfers, hotels, tour, food and not forgetting our brilliant tour guide Martina! She was great fun and incredibly knowledgeable about the country and added that extra dimension to the whole experience. We were also saw the Northern Lights, which was magical and certainly added the icing to the cake. This was our first 'proper' holiday tour and we were fortunate to have a lovely group of people to share these experinces with. We felt that group size of 15 was good as there were not too many of us. We have been lucky enough to have travelled in Scandinavia, as well as other countries for both summer and winter holidays, but without doubt, Iceland brings something very unique to a holiday experience. It is a breath-taking combination of beauty and barren lava fields and we will most definitely be returning, as there is still so much more to see and experience.
