Not particularly impressed with BabyMonitorsDirect. I ordered and paid for this monitor on 2 March. It arrived on 7 April. I appreciate that this was due to a limited availability of stock from the supplier but I was provided with no update on delivery time in that whole 5 week period. This was despite numerous emails asking for an update (which were ignored), which resulted in me then having to call BMD and asked to be kept updated but I never was. I won't be ordering from this company again. In terms of the monitor itself, it is very good. Easy to use with a very clear screen. My one criticism is the battery life of the product which, if you have the video screen on, is a few hours at most. This means you have to cart the charger round the house with you which is a bit of a pain. I have now seen the response from BMD. An email was sent from you on 2 March (the same day as my order confirmation), saying you were out of stock and that the item would be in stock on 13 March. This was the first I heard about low stock availability and I received no further updates per my comments above. This led me to call your customer services team who confirmed the delay and said they would keep me updated. They didn't. Your comments don't at all address the fact I received no update about my delivery, until I chased for one, in that 5 week period.
