I've been using Brodit mounts in my cars for 20 years+ to fit my phones, and also two-way radios.
Honda Accord, Puegeot 306, Mazda 6 (2006), Mazda 6 (2009), Ford Fiesta (2011), VW Passat (2017).
All have been simple to fit, and once snapped in place provide a solid strong surface for attaching the device holder to. They also look great. Very highly recommended.
