I am furious!! I was informed that Asda Car Insurance would beat any online quote so I decided to go with One Call Insurance as they were the cheapest. However, after I signed on with them they informed me that they were not made aware that I had 3 points on my licence for a speeding offence. I told them they were aware as it was on the compare the market site and was uploaded when ever I looked for a quote. They then informed me that they were going to increase my monthly payment to £47 per month. I told them I could not afford this and cancelled my policy. They are now hounding me for £184 cancellation charges although I was originally told the cancellation fee would be £55.99. I pointed out that the "cooling off period" started from when they changed the policy. I have now gone with another insurance company but One Call are still trying to bully me into paying for nothing - very disappointing and will not use Asda Car Insurance again. There is a scam going on here somewhere.
