I couldn't fault the helpfulness of the guy on the counter when I called at the Oldbury Depot to collect my order. His general manner and helpfulness is the only reason I've given a 'Good' rating. The condition of the items I had ordered really left a lot to be desired. My order was for 24 x Decking Spindles and what I did find extremely disappointing was the condition the spindles were in. The whole stack from which my order was fulfilled was absolutely wet through. If I had not had so much difficulty finding a Company who stocked the Cheshire Mouldings Stop Chamfered Spindles which I particularly wanted then I certainly would have refused to accept what was being offered to me. They were in a terrible condition and I was extremely surprised a company such as Laver were selling items in this state. I had also travelled 38 miles (76 mile round trip) to collect them so I had to also take that into account when deciding whether to accept them or not. I took them home and had to put them out in the sun each day to dry them out before being able to use them and before they were dry enough to apply the decking oil on them. So all in all regret this purchase was not a marvellous experience. Colin Brain
