I am currently using the Ardo carum pump and have used the Medela hospital grade double pump in the past. The machines are comparable and the Ardo a Carum is effective and helps me express milk when other electric and hand pumps have failed. The system is straight forward to use and isn't too complicated. The only reason why I have given it 4 and not 5 stars is because it is a bit noisy. I keep it by my bed to express at night and find the noise of the pump very annoying.
