Ashley was very helpful and easy to deal with and the transfers to our Spanish bank account went through without a hitch.
I only wish that I had known that Barclays took commission in addition to that of A Place in the Sun Currency’s. I couldn’t understand why my limit order wasn’t filled when the exchange rate went up to more than my Limit Order rate plus what I thought the commission was. By the time I picked the phone up the following day the exchange rate had dropped and I ended up about 1,500€ worse off.
