My local APC DON’t deserve even one star, they must be short of drivers. But, I’ve had bad delivery twice now from this company since November. Cwmbran depot. South Wales. They Don’t answer phone but neither does your National line 0800……
Tried to track a parcel of meat which is perishable after 48 hours. If I hadn’t tried to find the parcel physically by going out and looking for the drop down pin they had put on firstly at the location which was an industrial estate about 1 mile from me and then eventually retrieving it from the depot which the driver had taken it back to. I was there at 3.15 pm the driver had gone home. The boy there said he couldn’t find me??? WELL I found them. I live in Pontypool this was Cwmbran only a flew miles away. They didn’t even let me know this had happened. Because this has happened before only a few weeks ago with a delivery from another farm I was on the alert. So I found them myself.
I contacted the farm and they are going to lodge a formal complaint.
I’m also going to report this on TRUST PILOT. ONCE bitten and all that……
Perhaps they need more drivers but a bad job is a bad job. Was told it wasn’t their normal driver, but twice in a month is unacceptable.
DPD are much better.
My communication with the depot was nil. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THIER PHONE. IT STARTS TO RING THEN GOES INTO AN ENGAGED TONE. SI DOES THE NATIONAL NUMBER.
HAD TO PHYSICALLY DRIVE TOGET MY PARCEL.
