My mum has dementia, so this is why I purchased the items from this site. I guess the condition affects different people in different ways, but a common factor must be a loss of cognitive ability, dexterity and site. Many of the gifts here are nostalgia items designed to stimulate memory. Some appear to be recreations of actual games from years gone by, but the problem is they weren't originally designed for people with dementia, they were made as children's games.
