It gives a decent level of privacy during the day, unless someone is determined to peer in the windows, a casual passer by will see their reflection and will walk on by.
However it is not 100% non see through and when it is dark outside people can see in.
We have curtains drawn when it is dark so this is not a problem.
For the price you pay to our mind it is a very good product.
