I have always been passionate about makeup as a hobby and wanted to pursue makeup as a profession. There is nothing better than combining passion and fun at work. Makes work all the more interesting!

I did the ‘Complete Artistic Pro Specialist in Hair styling and makeup artistry’. The course is all encompassing and at times it does feel like a lot to manage, however, once you are done, you feel empowered to start working.

If I had to review AOFM as a place to learn professional makeup, I could wax lyrical about the learning process, their program/modules, instructors, management, et al but my biggest takeaway from the experience is the after program opportunities like master classes, fashion show backstage, assistantship. There are ample avenues vis a vis events that are internationally renowned which AOFM partners with. These various opportunities have helped me stay current with new products, skills and techniques. AOFM has provided me with exposure to be able to work on different projects like e-commerce campaign/commercial shoots, bridal, private clients, et al. I am fortunate to be engaged as a full time freelance HMUA working on various projects in UAE and internationally. Thanks to all my mentors and instructors at AOFM, I can manage any work with confidence. I am proud to be an AOFM alumnus who can always look for advise and technical direction any time from the AOFM management & instructors.
