First time I have ordered from Alternative Meat's but we were looking for something a bit "special" this Christmas. Having found them on the internet, I decided to order three different products, Dry Aged Rib of Beef, 2 Herb Fed chickens and a Mangalitza Gammon. The Beef was quite possibly the best I have ever tasted (that's after over 50 years in the catering industry), absolutely fantastic. The chickens (which I brined with lemon peel and a selection of fresh herbs) were amazing. The Mangalitza Ham was also superb (although if I was asked, I would have preferred them to leave slightly more of the delicious back fat on the ham rather than a close trim. Without a doubt, I have found one of the best quality meat suppliers in the country and for sure, will be using them again. Quality always wins out and this certainly has exceeded my high expectations on many levels.
