We were so excited to send my son's new girlfriend a card and flowers for her birthday on 8th October, to welcome her into the family, and ordered them 2 days before. We then spent 2 weeks thinking how rude she was for not thanking us, then discovered they had not been sent, even although the money was taken, and we had confirmation of the order. We were not even informed that the delivery had not been made! It was not despatched, so they cannot blame the delivery process. Apparently it was a "system error" and we were told they could still be sent albeit 2 weeks after her birthday! (how embarrassing for us to send them 2 weeks late) Or we could send them to someone else! (who the neighbours?) It is not just the flowers, it's the thought behind them, and this company has completely ruined the occasion. If you order and pay for flowers from a "reputable" company, is it really too much to expect that they will actually get delivered? If I had not phoned after 2 weeks, they would have kept the money, as even they did not know that the order had not been processed. Absolutely disgusting.
