My wife really likes tart things so when she first tried these she was actually pretty pleased at the taste-- the ascorbic acid was quite noticeable. They are good sized tablet so some might find them daunting to swallow, but we had no trouble. There's no coating on the tablet so I do wonder if the ones at the bottom become chipped and there's a collection of powder in the bottom, but so far the tablets seem unbroken and intact.

My GP recommended I take Vitamin C given the frequency of my infections - and the latest thinking does seem to be that taking vitamin C regularly can reduce the severity and duration of colds, though not prevent them. So I decided to give it a try last winter and had a substantial reduction in days ill. These Vitamin C supplements are 1000mg a day, and dosage at this high level is what is linked in studies to reductions in illness. Higher dosage is not necessarily all good – 1000mg is within recognised safe limits but you might want to read up if you are at risk of kidney stones. They also have some additional ‘immune booster’ citrus bioflavonoids and rosehip extract, although some swankier tablets have other ingredients too. At just over 10p per daily dose they are reasonable value compared to other Vitamin C+ tablets I have reviewed at 5-6p a tablet for 500mg doses and 11p for 1000mg doses. These may not be the right pills to choose if you have difficulty swallowing. They need to be swallowed with cold water. I tried warm tea first and the pill started fizzing in my mouth and I had eventually to break it into half to get it down. They have a powdery surface which means they go down less smoothly than capsules, and they are also reasonably bulky, though not as bulky as many pills I have reviewed. They taste OK – they have sorbitol and maltodextrose in them which makes them slightly sweet.

I'm a firm believer in taking vitamin supplements (in moderation) and Vitamin C is recognised as a pretty standard recommendation for most people; I take it regularly myself and I got this pack for a family member. This supply of 120 chewable tablets come in a bright red plastic bottle and arrive packed in their own cardboard box; while the presentation is impressive, it`s also a little excessive perhaps? At least all the materials used have been - and are - recyclable; Otherwise, the product is very good and competitively priced. Quite happy with them.

These are high strength vitamin C tablets, and Vitamin C is important to support your immune system. As it is water soluble, you need an intake a vitamin C every day, and many of us don't get enough. The bottle contains 120 tablets, so 4 months supply, and is well packaged in a cardboard box and a sturdy, funky red colour plastic bottle. They are a good price for the strength and amount of tablets. They're not small, but smaller than a tablet like a high dose multivitamin, and tasteless. As an added bonus, for every bottle you buy, they donate a meal to a vulnerable person via the UK charity Fareshare. My only criticism is the funky red bottle - as we are all trying to reduce our plastic usage, I have started to remove labels off old pill bottles and reuse the bottle for herbs or spices. Because this bottle is printed on the plastic, that won't be possible. And that's the only thing that let's it down.

1000MG of Vitamin C is certainly a GOOD dose. I have had the same before, and higher (1450 mg) but the capsules end up being quite large and hard to swallow. These however are tightly packed into a small pill which is a good selling point. Value-wise I think it's pretty good, 120 Capsules @ 1 per day is approx 4 months. These Vitamins are VEGAN and they parter with a UK charity, so overall a good product, cool branding and at a reasonable price.

One bottle lasts about four months, so this price is a bargain. The tablets are easy to swallow and not too big. I like this brand and I am happy the bottle and packaging are fully recyclable.

After more than two weeks of taking Vitamin C, my energy has improved and it is important for me to consume this type of vitamin so since I left it for a while I have decided to resume with these and I do not regret it because they are great as well. that I will buy more. It has a beautiful packaging with a bottle of very nice colour for me, also the tablets are easy for me to take but if you have difficulty taking pills the size of these (see photos), you should choose others but these have been great for me I would be happy to recommend them, they are good value for money.
