You can now control your lights from your seat thanks to a receiver being incorporated into the switch with a matching remote to control.
Being compatible with both the 12V and the 24V versions of the single colour LED tape by Mirrorstone as well as any others, you have up to 20m range with the controller.
Setting The Right Mood For The Occasion
Even with a remote, you can control your lights directly from the wall like a traditional switch. The remote, however, give you more options at your disposal.
You can have up to 8 different levels of light all from the one switch, giving you the best chance at finding the right mood for you:

Alongside these varying options, the 12V LED Dimmer Switch with IR Remote has a maximum load of 96W at 12V or 192W at 24V. This means that the huge range available causes there to be no maximum length that can be ran from the switch.

4.8W/m LED Tape - 20m;
7.2W/m LED Strip - 13m;
9.6W/m LED Strip Light - 10m;
14.4W/m Strip Light - 6m;

This variety of brightness' and lengths available is extremely handy when you consider that we offer a bespoke cutting and soldering service. We can even extended the tales from the strip with some 2 Core Cable.
Keeping Protected From External Danger
Unfortunately, unlike the range of products that can be controlled by the 12V LED Dimmer Switch with IR Remote, there is no option for stronger IP Ratings. Being an IP20 unit, it will need to installed away from the reaches of water.
You still get protection from solid objects however, with anything wider than 12mm not being able to enter the unit.
