“I've had another Technomate which has given good service. This one I bought for ageing neighbours. I suspect that the software was not really up to date and I had to manually enter some frequencies and do a "Blind Search". We got there in the end. But I still get calls from the neighbour: "I can't get "Russia Today"/"BBC Four"/BBC Red button Text. So not the most user friendly piece of kit but it was cheap!!”

“Bought as replacement for Phoenix Apollo, which had died. Very difficult to use. Poor user interface and terrible user manual. No additional support on website. I've wasted 3 to 4 hours already and still only partly working. Assuming I eventually get it working it will probably be good value for money.”

“As I bought this Receiver on behalf of someone who is not online, I am unable to comment on it, but as it was bought as a replacement for another exactly the same which had 'blown' after a number of years service, I am sure I will hear if anything is amiss with this replacement receiver.”
