“I have suffered for years with skinned shins and consequent bleeding. It is not my boots (properly fitted) and i have specialist socks. The skin on your shins is one of the thinnest coverings on the body. These pads helped a lot over the course of 7 days but did not entirely prevent damage and i still have raw shins. I was glad i used them and i do recommend but i rated them 4 rather than 5. Perhaos they need to be slightly thicker ? Feb.18 Richard Alliston”
