“I would have given these shoes a 5 - they fit like a glove and the leather is as soft as you would expect - but the design of the back of the heel means that they cannot be worn without socks as the edge of the shoe digs into the heel over time when walking. Even at the sale price, this is too expensive a shoe not to be supremely comfortable. But I like them and I'm hoping the back of the heel will soften over time. Until then, it's socks.”
