The AMS insect screen allows you to leave the window open and be confident that no insects will enter the room.

The AMS insect screen is the only accessory that is mounted onto the lining and not the window.

It is made of glass fibre netting covered with PVC and comes with white aluminium runners.

Characteristics, stops mosquitoes and other insects from entering the room when the roof window is open, minimum shading of the room & the possibility to install with other internal and external accessories.

Control. AMS insect screen is operated manually.

ZST rod enables operation of AMS installed out of reach.

“I ordered over a month ago and the item still hasn't arrived, I was told I couldn't cancel and get a refund as it was outside the cancellation period. Terrible company to deal with, if you cannot supply goods do not take orders with a 15-20day delivery period!”

“Not really an insect screen... Ok if you get bothered by flies, bees, moths etc but it will do nothing to stop a horde of Scottish midges from feasting on you during the night. If the description had been detailed & mentioned the hole size in the mesh I wouldn’t have bought it, but it’s been a complete waste of money. Thank goodness my husband & I are engineers.......we’re going to cobble together a midge net attachment to make it fit for purpose. Give your customers a chance Fakro & provide them with enough details of a product to make an informed choice.”

Hi Lorraine. Once again let me apologies if our usual high standards in roof window products has not met your expectations. While I understand your issues with the insect screen, they are designed to provide an effective barrier to the vast majority of common UK insects. The mesh size is 1.6mm x 1.8mm which research tells us is the optimum size to provide the correct protection against even the smaller insects such as midges and maintain effective ventilation through air ingress.
