“carrier pads very good but connection to the roof bars not so good. The clamps don't grip the Golf roof bars as the clamp profile doesn't fit the bar profile and I will need to make a shim of some kind. Probably OK on narrower bars.”

Dead easy to fit & set up on my roof bars & grips the Kayak very securely .
On opening the packing for the securing straps I did find them to be frayed & damaged in a few places. They were still wrapped in the factory packing so this must have happened at manufacture. A quick email to Paddle & Surf with some photos & replacements was sent out to me without hesitation.”
