Hello Paul, Thank you for your review and your time on the phone this afternoon, it was lovely speaking with you. You explained that you are using these Solar Batteries in Solar Lights which you purchased from another supplier and when you first inserted the Batteries your Lights did illuminate for a short while but then switched off. We provide the Batteries with what we call a 'Manufacturers Charge' so that you know they work when you receive them. You have been charging your Lights with the new Batteries but in the ON position which would mean the Batteries are not charging properly. You are going to switch the Lights off over the weekend whilst they charge up and let us know next week whether your Lights illuminate.
