“I've used this kit for amplification of DNA from single flow-sorted plant chromosomes. Performance was exactly as desribed, on average I've obtained more than microgram of DNA starting with sub-picogram amounts, representativeness measured by number of single-loci markers amplified was always above 50%. The biggest advantage is literally zero DNA in no-template-control, favouring this kit for coupling of single chromosome amplification with next-generation sequencing. Price is a bit steep though.”
