“I was fairly happy with this turbine although the gun is not really of good design or quality. However despite cleaning/changing the filters and mostly spraying outside the unit overheated and the turbine started grating. After a call to the hvlp shop I was advised to contact the manufacturer directly which I did. They said it was still under warranty and the factory was on site blah blah blah and it would be repaired and returned in three days or so. Six days later they phoned to say it was all my fault and I would have to pay £192 to get it fixed and would take up to ten days to repair. No good, holding the job up so I have bought a Fuji spray which is a far superior machine and of better quality. I have no faith in Bambi/Apollo with regards to their engineering or customer service, in fact I'm quite cynical about the whole affair. The 1500 Pro Spray is anything but to be honest - more for the hobbyist I'd imagine. It is probably the worst in its class. Was considering one of their compressors for air assisted, I'd be better off throwing my money into the sea and getting very stressed about it. Spend a bit more and get something that can actually do its job.”
